Made last Christmas for Fort Erie Race Track to wish Happy Holidays to their social media followers. There where slightly different versions made to fit different platforms but, this is basic 16:9 HD version.
Here's set of 4 personalized Christmas greeting I made for different households in my family to use a holiday greetings on social media.
They are all variations on the same format, but all have they're own twist.
I've been going through a wide range of tutorials to improve my skills in the Adobe suite of software. So I took a few different elements and came up with these Christmas greetings.
If your interested, some of the elements where created in Photoshop & the rest in After effects. I was going to use Illustrator for some elements but found out I could do them in AE just as well, which (aside from making something cool for people) was one of the reasons to make them. So I could get some practice and learn something new.
A short promo I whipped up for Rafik to remind everyone that his Livestock Niagara Festival is tomorrow. We made a cool piece that was released in June promoting the festival, but this is a last minute reminder going out on social media. Because life is busy & it's easy to forget. If you are in Niagara this weekend, the festival will be fantastic & it doesn't hurt that it's being held at my favourite craft brewery.

I did Promo/commercial for the 'Livestock Niagara' Music Festival at Taps on Queen, Downtown Niagara Falls. I made two a 60 second & a 30 second, the 30 second is the one we went with. It's been released of the social media streams for the festival and may appear on the local cable channel in the community events section. It's still fun to see your stuff on TV, even if it's local cable access. Now I need to find someone that still has cable. The 60 Sec. one had 1 extra scene & a slower pace.
It was was fun doing something different than what I usually do & Raf (Rafik Guirguis who runs the festival) was super enthusiastic, & great to work with.
I'd like to say 'see you at the festival', but I have to be at my 'day job' that day. I'm hoping to slip out of work a bit early and be at the festival about 1/2 way through the day, as long as everything is running smoothly.
