Day 6 (Christmas/Advent Pic-a-Day)

I always associate candles with Christams.
Lights are great , but I like candles even more.

Tech stuff:
Quicker  shutter speed thatn the last one, as  freezes the flame in place better.
The hardest part of shooting the flame (in a dark room with no flashes ro lights) was to get the exposure right.  I wanted the candle in the back was visible but there was still detail in the flame.

Day 5 (Christmas/Advent Pic-a-Day)

Tried a slow sutterspeed to get some of the motion of the flame.

It's ok but I migth try it again.

Day 3 (Christmas/Advent Pic-a-Day)

Hand Painted canvas banner.      (Made by my mother. )

I like the effect you get from christmas lights .  The Soft glows, the colours, and in this case the   reflections .

Day 4 (Christmas/Advent Pic-a-Day)

A Few Little Santas.

I'd heard of Anamorphic lenses, but didn't really know  whatwhat they did, and definately didn't know you could fake the "look" for $100.

Oh, and it's film riot. (even though the article isin't the video is)
