Here we go Again !
I did pretty good at a daily post for a good while, then I had insane tech issues on several machines back to back.  Finally I started posting again and then couldn't keep up and posts where sporadic at best. 
Is 3 days before Christmas really the right time to start again? Probably not, but I'm going to try just the same. I'm going for maybe every few days til January 3rd, that's when I 'm hoping to get back to daily posts .

So here goes nothing

Paris Polution

It's so bad only people will even # plates can drive on even number days and odds on odd # days.  They also made public transit free.

unfortunately these are only emergency measures, so til the the current smog lifts.

2016 My Christmas List

Here is this years Christmas List
Just like last year, I have a range of things from Easy to Unlikely. But, it's Christmas so why not dream a little.

New this year I've divided the list into two parts.

First there are things you don't have to buy, but are very valuable & very much appreciated.

• Follow me on: Flickr, YouTube, Vimeo, blogger, twitter, G+
• Post, Re-post, forward, share or tell someone about something I made/posted
• Consider being in something or helping to make something (video, podcast etc.).
   

Second are things that have price tags.

1. crocks - $Store
2. toques - $Store
3. Edison bulbs - $ store
4. headphones - from $ store
5. Hot olives from Roman cheese or Lococos
6. finger gloves
7. pillow
8. Red & Green Totes
9. Book: The Old Magic of Christmas – Yuletide traditions for the darkest days of the year.-linda raedisch  
10. Podcast subscriptions.  I'm a bit of a Podcast junkie & several of the shows I listen too have paid (monthly) subscriptions that allow access to additional content. 
11. Christmas records (real vinyl records) almost any Christmas record but the one I really want is Firestone Christmas album #4 (Firestone Presents Your Favorite Christmas music). It's a 7 record set & I have them all except #4 (below). So, if your at a second hand store or a garage sale & see Firestone #4 you have found the perfect gift!

The cenotaph at Niagara Falls. It is in Queen Victoria Park, within sight of the falls.


The central monument is the original erected after WWI & the  obelisks on either side where added after WWII.

Ground Level shot of a Mushroom. I could get this type of shot before by either getting down on the ground and framing the shot. With the tilty-flippy screen on the 80D I can frame the shot much more easily.

 Caught this squirrel at the top of a telephone pole. Usually they run as soon as I reach for my camera, but this time he had no where to go.

 A few old pics of a sunset at Fort Erie Race Track.

 
This Model was in the SONY booth at the vistek imaging show in Toronto. That's the day I got my new 80D, which is great , but I'm still working on making the most of it.

One of the 1st photos with my new 80D.I've been working with it & going through the manual trying to learn all the features & functions. It will take time to really learn &practice before I can make the most of it.
