Pic-of-The-day - "Smoke Stack".

Back in the olden days (when I was a kid)  it was brick right to the top & I swear you could see it all over the neighbourhood. Also smoke used to come out of it, real smoke with colour and everything.
Obviously that was not a good thing (pumping poison particulate into the air)  but , I do get surprised by the subtle changes in everyday life that you don't notice until you think about how things used to be. How things can change so completely with out us seeming to notice until we focus on the past.

From a hundred year old high school in Niagara Falls. Parts of the building are being used for private businesses. I believe there are parts of the build that see little use aside from routine inspections etc.

Sunday Morning in Niagara Falls. I left early that morning so I 'd have time to relax with a coffee before work. I forgot the coffee shop opens late on the weekend  so, I took a bit of detour to find a coffee & some breakfast.
