Pic Of the Day - Macro Monday - Melt (#1?)

Melt (#1?)

Today's Macro Monday photo is a bit out of place as we are once again in a deep freeze at the moment.

The interesting shapes of melting snow always catch my eye.
Some times you get little microcosms that echo the larger melting events happening all around.

It's titled 'Melt (#1?)' because there will probably be more photos in the same vein when the snow & ice once again begin to melt.

Pic Of the Day - Snowed In

Today we have a bit of a tourist photo. It's taken from River Road (Niagara Falls Ontario) looking down to the bottom of the gorge on the lower Niagara River (the river AFTER it goes over the falls). Being in a 56M gorge more snow & ice accumulate than above and give you geat views like this even when the streets are clean and the sun is out "up top".
