Sinterklaas Kapoentje

I was watching Miracle on 34th Street (1947) and while watching  him sing to the dutch girl (and singing along) I looked the lyrics and translation.

According to the St. Nicholas Center here are the lyric in Dutch and English.
 

Sinterklaas, kapoentje
Gooi wat in mijn schoentje,
Breng wat in mijn laarsje,
Dank je Sinterklaasje.

Saint Nic'las, my dear one,
Something in my shoe put,
Something in my stocking,
Thank you, Saint Nich-o-las!
